אנו מבטיחים לאהוב, להוקיר, לכבד ולהעשיר זה את זו. לבבותינו חוברים יחדיו לברית עולם ייחודית שביסודה חברות, הבנה והזדהות.

נדרנו לחתור תמיד אל פתיחות, שתאפשר לנו לחלוק את מחשבותינו, רגשותינו וחוויותינו; להיות רגישים זה לצרכיו של זו, להשיג הגשמה הדדית – רגשית, פיזית ורוחנית. נחגוג יחד את פרקי חיינו בשמחה וביראת כבוד, נוקיר זה את זו בשעות האושר, ונגן ונחזק בעתות קושי.

באיחוד זה אנו מתחייבים להעריך ולתמוך זה בזו, לטפח ברגש, ברוח ובתבונה, להיות מודעים תמיד למעלותינו ולתכונותינו השונות, ולצמוח יחדיו מתוך אומץ, נחישות והתמדה.

נחתור לבנות בית מושרש במורשת היהודית, בית המקרין אהבה, שלום, סובלנות וקדושה.
באחווה וברצון אנו נכנסים לברית זו של חברות ואהבה, ויתקיים בנו האמור:
“טובים השניים מן האחד.”

in the presence of family and friends, the sacred covenant of marriage was entered into between the bride __________, daughter of __________, and the groom __________, son of __________ and __________.

We pledge to honor and respect one another, in accordance with the tradition of Moses and Israel, with faith, integrity, and honesty.
We promise to love, cherish, honor, and enrich one another. Our hearts are joined in an eternal covenant founded on friendship, understanding, and empathy.

We vow to strive always for openness that will allow us to share our thoughts, feelings, and experiences; to remain sensitive to each other’s needs; and to achieve mutual fulfillment—emotional, physical, and spiritual. We will celebrate life’s moments together with joy and reverence, treasure one another in times of happiness, and protect and strengthen one another in times of difficulty.

In this union we commit to value and support one another, to nurture with emotion, spirituality, and wisdom, to always be mindful of our unique qualities and strengths, and to grow together with courage, determination, and perseverance.

We shall endeavor to build a home rooted in our Jewish heritage, a home radiating love, peace, tolerance, and holiness.
With harmony and free will we enter into this covenant of friendship and love, and may it be fulfilled in us the verse:
“Two are better than one.”
