ביום הזה, הם מתחייבים לכבד ולהכיל את אהבתם.

הם בוחרים אחד בשניה, כידידים וכחברים, כמו אמותינו ואבותינו, שלימדונו:

״יקנה אדם חבר לעצמו אשר אתו ילמד, לידו ישן, ובו יבטח״.

הם מתחייבים לכנות ולטוב לב.

הם מתחייבים להשתתף באתגרי החיים בעדינות, ובאושרם בהתלהבות.

הם מתחייבים לכבד אחת את השני כאנשים נפרדים וכשווים.

הם מסכימים לקבל אחריות של משפחה זה לזו ולילדיהם.

ביחד הם מבטיחים ליצור בית בתוך קהילת ישראל, בית מלא בלמידה, בשמחה, ובחמלה.

They commit to honesty and kindness.

They take on the responsibilities of family toward each other, and their children.

Together, they shall build a Jewish home filled with learning, laughter and compassion.
