I hand paint each Candle Lighting board with watercolors on a delicate papercut design. The watercolor rim surrounds the central text and adds softness, color, and depth to the piece. You may choose your preferred color for the watercolor border; simply mention your color choice after placing the order.
At the center of the board appears the traditional blessing for lighting the Shabbat candles. This sacred text transforms the artwork into both a functional ritual piece and a decorative object filled with spiritual meaning.
The papercut artwork is carefully set between two pieces of tempered glass. This construction protects the board from scratches and damage during shipping. In addition, the sealed glass prevents water or dust from entering, allowing the piece to remain beautiful and well preserved over time.
Each Candle Lighting board is an original design by Noa Attias. I create all of my designs using high-quality, non–acid-free paper to ensure durability and longevity. Every detail receives careful attention, from the papercutting to the hand-painted watercolor finish.
You may personalize the Candle Lighting board by adding the names of a couple along the lower border for an additional $30. For a more extensive personalization, I can also add family names around the entire border for an additional $100.
