Holy Land – Prayer for Israel Soldiers

This beautiful and unique paper cut presents the map of the Land of Israel together with a powerful prayer for Israel’s soldiers, a prayer that feels especially meaningful during these difficult days.

The design surrounds the map of Israel with an olive tree, one of the blessings of the land. Through this imagery, the artwork expresses growth, strength, and continuity. Just as the tree continues to grow, so too will we spread, bloom, and flourish like the flowers that appear throughout the design.

I create each papercut on high-quality archival, acid-free fine art paper to ensure durability and long-lasting beauty. The artwork also includes a hand-painted background, available in blue tones or multicolor, and printed on museum-quality Giclée art paper.

Translation to the prayer: ” “He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Forces, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God, from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May the Almighty cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighters from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under our soldiers’ sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is the Lord your God, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you. Now let us respond: Amen.“

12.6″x 21.6″ , 10″ x 17″, 8.2″ x 14″ (in this size the paper cut DOESN’T come with foam board between the papercut to the background to have it raised from the background.
