The University of Haifa commissioned Noa Attias to create this custom honoree papercut artwork as an official gift for the President of Germany. The university sought a meaningful artistic tribute that would reflect partnership, leadership, and mutual respect.
Noa Attias designed the piece with precision and intention. She framed the official certificate within an intricate handcrafted papercut border that combines refined typography with flowing botanical motifs. Moreover, she selected deep blue tones to convey dignity and cultural dialogue.
The composition balances ceremony with artistry. As a result, the central text remains clear and prominent while the surrounding cutwork adds depth and dimension. Furthermore, the layered structure creates presence without overwhelming the formal content.
This commission demonstrates how art can elevate institutional recognition. Instead of offering a traditional plaque, the university chose a handcrafted artwork that carries symbolism and lasting impact. Therefore, the gift communicates both honor and artistic excellence.
Noa Attias creates bespoke papercut artworks for universities, corporations, and diplomatic institutions. In addition, she tailors each commission to reflect the message, tone, and level of formality required for the occasion.
Organizations choose custom papercut artworks to honor heads of state, academic leaders, philanthropists, and distinguished guests. For this reason, each project begins with a collaborative design process that ensures clarity, respect, and visual refinement.
