Purim – Megillat Esther Papercut & Illustration on Parchment

This unique, custom-made Megillat Esther combines traditional parchment with hand-cut papercuts and delicate watercolor illustration. I create each Megillah with great care, attention to detail, and deep respect for the text and tradition.

You can fully personalize the design. Together, we will plan and shape a Megillah that reflects your taste, story, and connection to Purim.

You have several options:

• If you do not yet own a Megillah and would like to acquire one, I can create it for you from start to finish.

• If you already have a Megillah and would like to add a beautifully illustrated opening, I can design and illustrate the beginning for you.

• If you own a Megillah and wish to decorate it throughout, I can illustrate and enhance it with papercuts and watercolor details.

I work closely with the finest sofers, known for their beautiful and precise handwriting. Their craftsmanship ensures that the sacred text remains authentic and halachically correct.

I illustrate each Megillah with hand-cut papercuts and paint it using watercolor. The parchment absorbs the color naturally, which allows the artwork to age gracefully. As a result, the colors remain stable and soft over time, offering greater longevity than acrylic paint.

This Megillat Esther becomes a meaningful heirloom, created to be read, cherished, and passed down for generations.
